Voucher was launched in March 2011 by QLD based entrepreneur Tim Gosper, who after running several successful voucher/coupon websites branched out to create Voucher on the premise of being a group-buying company with a difference.
After careful analysis of the group-buying/daily deal market, Voucher.com.au positioned itself as "not just another group buying company" but rather one that looked after both the businesses listing deals and the customers purchasing them.
As the group buying market has grown, scores of small businesses have blindly put their hands up to offer consumers a great deal, naively signing up to exclusivity deals and outlandishly high commission contracts along the way.
Voucher.com.au is one company that is fighting back on behalf of small businesses around the country, by slashing commissions and removing locked in contracts.
